Dame Louise Richardson, president of the Carnegie Corporation of New York, urged the Class of 2025 to confront the world’s ongoing crises using the skills they gained at Boston College, comparing them to superheroes in her commencement address Monday morning.
“I don't know when I'm ever going to be in an environment with people who are as selfless and talented and empathetic and emotionally intelligent and special ever again,” Heckelman said.
“Something that I try to bring to my novels is a lot of the philosophy and tenet that we are brought up with as Boston College students,” Rosen said. “So much of that was instilled in me in my time at BC, so I think a lot about that as I'm working on these books.”
